There are pictures taken from the daily routine with one of my horses. He is a former race horse, I have renamed My Song, who has not yet received any “schooling”, but is already very trusting.
My Song has been diagnosed by an Osteopath, with blockages in his neck and back sustained from his former racing career, thus his rather stiff attitude when ridden. Treatment was slow... Sadly, my "beloved friend" has passed away in Summer 2009 from a devastating colic. We battled to save him, and as hard as he may have tried to survive, in the end, his very grave condition added to the sizzling heat of the Southern Spain Summer got the better of him... However, I have decided to keep these beautiful pictures of the intense and loving bond My Song and I had for each other, to share it with the World. Indeed, Human and Horse can be best friends!
Warning :
PLEASE DONOTTRY RUNNING WITH A LOOSE HORSE, OR PASS FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER UNDER HIS BELLY. THESE ARE DANGEROUS EXERCISES WHICH INVOLVE HIGH RISKS OF VERY SEVERE INJURY! SUCH EXERCISES NEED TRAINING AND A GREAT DEAL OF TRUST.
