Bad habits with a horse are most of the time a direct consequence of our own
mistakes (behaviours and positions).
Also, by punishing the horse needlessly we aggravate those bad habits!  A faulty hand position, an unbalanced seat, which we can be entirely unaware of, and thinking we are doing the "right thing", can cause a lot of discomfort to the horse.  Naturally, the horse will react communicating his discomfort to us; and as our lack of understanding continues, convinced that we are doing the right thing, we begin to cause damage to the horse, who in turn will inevitably give it back to us.  Or, through his incredible empathy he will endorse all to protect his owner/rider, become so depressed he can slowly perish.

All this is avoidable:  WITH "NATURAL BALANCE HORSERIDING" TAUGHT IN THIS PROGRAMME!

Horse and rider are evaluated together; the instructor will pinpoint the mistakes and train the rider to correct him/herself.  With time the horse will gradually become more comfortable, and therefore not seek to defend himself and/or suffer.  The aim of the instructor is to train rider and horse to become partners and work as a team.  Therefore, together be successful, sustainable and last, throwing away the mentality of enforced domination of the rider upon the horse.

(Work evaluation according to case).
